The light of the beast.
Migrantes Valientes is an independent publication founded by Mexican/British artist Pablo Allison. It’s main purpose is to publish and share the experiences of people migrating around the world in order to find prosperity and peace. The ethos of the newspaper is to work in collaboration with academics, artists, human rights activists, NGO’s, migrants, refugees etc. to broaden the understanding of migration and highlight all facets of this human phenomenon. In collaboration with Pablo, I have produced a limited edition fanzine for the launch called “The Light Of The Beast”. Inspired by the aesthetic of a daily newspaper, this publication aims to denounce and document the experiences of migrants.
